The network is key!
About 350 startups with over 2,600 employees, 20,000 square meters of coworking space, collaborations between young companies and established corporates, global players and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, a dense concentration of universities and colleges and an international atmosphere … Düsseldorf is undoubtedly the right place to translate your innovative business ideas into reality.
The Office of Economic Development`s startup initiative was launched in 2015. Its aim is to exploit potential, enhance strengths and, above all, promote networking among the various players in Düsseldorf. The Startup Unit team has established special programs tailored to the needs of startups at various stages in their development. These include schemes such as “Test Your Startup Idea”, events such as “Startups meet Investors” or the mentoring program that brings together young companies and established corporates.
