Six startups from the chemical industry, three from Germany and three t from the Netherlands, present to you how they make an important contribution to trade between Germany and the Netherlands with their innovative products and services.

The chemical industry in the European Union represents about 7 percent of EU industrial production and about 17 percent of global chemical sales, providing more than 1.15 million jobs – and many more jobs in other industries. Chemical products are proving to be the main reason for the growth in trade between Germany and the Netherlands. Between these two countries, binational trade rose to a record 190 billion in 2021, with digitization and sustainability playing an important role.

The cross-border event provides a platform for an intensive exchange of innovation and best practices between (bio)chemical companies, both for corporates and SMEs, research and development institutes, industry organizations, business angels and other investors, as well as startups from Germany and the Netherlands.

A panel of industry experts will judge the pitches of the four startups and give useful advice to the participants. In addition, the startups, the jury and other speakers will face questions from the audience to enable an intensive exchange of information and experiences.

Our goal is to motivate investors to invest in great and innovative products and services in order to develop them further and place them successfully on the international chemical market.
